Had an awesome Sunday lunch here today. Turkey and Ham Roast with all the trimmings - just awesome. Really lovely staff looking after us. The quantity of food was enormous and so tasty. Perfect for a huge appetite! Excellent value for money. Would highly recommend!
We found Donegans while walking around and we nearly didn't go in because it seemed a bit pricey for pub grub. What a mistake that would have been. Huge portions that are absolutely delicious. We made the mistake of ordering a starter each, which were a very good size, and then when our mains came we struggled to finish them. I had the roast rib of beef, which was presented beautifully, and the knife slid through the beef like butter. The giant Yorkshire pudding, mash, roast potatoes and veg were gorgeous and the extra gravy that was given without being asked for was very appreciated. The rest of our party found their food tasty, well presented and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Great choice of food, food was well cooked and tasted great. Staff were friendly and helpful . Weird atmosphere in restaurant, not an overly comfortable place to sit with no background music but instead the noise of a door banging loudly every 5 or 10 mins, the banging from the waitress making the coffees at the machine, and staff shouting across the restaurant to each other with instructions and questions eg 'how much is a pint of Guinness?' with the response yelled back from 4 tables away
